Dive into the world of printmaking with this 8-week printmaking course for beginners! Printmaking is a fine art technique that has been around for centuries. Relaxing, creative and lots of fun, this 8-week course will introduce you to a number of different printing methods, techniques and tools! Over the course, you will learn about paper printing tecniques such as screen printing, linocut, etching, monotype and more. This course covers: - Week 1: Linocut printing - Week 2: Reduction & jigsaw lino printing - Week 3: Dry point etching and chine coll'e - Week 4: Monotype - Weeks 5 & 6: Screen-printing -Week 7 & 8: The last 2 sessions are free for you to explore and experiment with any of the methods you have most enjoyed! This course will give you the skills you need to build your confidence as an artist. Watch as your knowledge of printing machinery, inks and special papers grows!
