Are you looking for a fun day out, getting messy with inks and creating beautiful artwork? Then join Stirchley Printworks for a paper screenprinting workshop! In this workshop, you will learn how to create original, unique artwork using paper screen printing techniques and your own hand-drawn designs. Paper screen printing is the artistic process of transferring a design onto paper, using a mesh screen, ink and a squeegee. This makes for lovely and striking artwork. Your host for this experience is Stirchley Printworks, whose expert printmakers will be there to guide, inspire and help along the way! What to expect: - Learn how to create your own artwork using screenprinting. - Create your own 2-colour A4 or 1-colour A3 print to take away with you. - Be guided on creating your designs - Learn to use water-based inks, including how to manipulate the ink, create mono techniques and more - Learn how to make positives, expose screens, mix colours and about specialist paper - Create a collection of unique screen prints to take home and enjoy! This course is perfect for anyone looking for a fun and accessible introduction to screen printing.
